We’ve been carrying ixöq baskets and totes at LIBBY & MY since we opened and always wanted to design a signature bag with them and here it is, the Errand Bag. 

ixöq (ee-sh-auk) is a DC-local business that directly supports women artisans. All of their products are designed in DC & handwoven by artisans in Guatemala. They work sustainably with products made from recycled and upcycled materials and follow ethical, fair-trade standards, working collaboratively with the artisans and paying a fair wage for their work. Each bag includes the artisan’s name in it too! ixöq helps to preserve this beautiful Guatemalan tradition.

The Errand Bag is neutral, something I don’t typically do but specifically chose for this bag to go with everything and for everyone to love. It’s the perfect size, not too big where your things will be jostling around but also sizable to fit everything you need for a quick errand, farmer’s market run, or dropping by the pool.
